Singles Cruises

There are many people out who are, for whatever reason, single and Cruise Lines the world over hit these Singles Cruises hard. Many will charge up to and including a 100% supplement for the use of the cabin.

People often ask, why is it so high? Well more often than not, the reason is because every cruise line knows roughly how much the average person will spend on a cruise, on extras, they use this figure to work out the amount of money they need to charge per cabin to break even. So those companies that discount a lot will need to add a larger supplement to the Single Cruises prices. It may not sound fair, however they do need to make money.

Personally I think that as each cruise line has to have a certain number of cabins for passengers with a disability, then they should also build a certain number of single cabins on their ships. After all, you could guarantee that these would sell out as soon as the itineraries were known.

Please cruise lines, take it on board, no pun intended and make Singles Cruises more available, please!
