Royal Caribbean has been providing memorable cruise holidays for more than a quarter of a century. The largest of its fleet of twenty one magnificent cruise ships, Independence of the Seas, which will cruise from Southampton all year round as from the end of 2010.
P&O’s well known slogan ‘There’s a world out there’ has never been more true as this giant amongst cruise lines now travels to 235 worldwide destinations. Their subsidiary Ocean Village meanwhile, only offer cruises to a few destinations as they offer back to back cruises from just four home ports.
Of the biggest cruise lines, the largest is Carnival, run by the Carnival Corporation, who also owns other cruise lines such as P&O, Cunard and Princess Cruises.
Cunard are run in the UK, like P&O Cruises and Princess Cruises, by The Complete Cruise Solution which is based in Southampton, Hampshire. Each of these cruise lines are run as separate entities under the Carnival banner.
